What it is. BURNIE (Burnie Senders) is a Solana memecoin, first pooled on 3 April 2026 by our measurement. It is political satire: the project casts a Bernie Sanders figure as a "Soviet sleeper agent" and writes its own copy as mock-Soviet directives.
Why this entry is flagged. Two reasons, and we publish both rather than quietly dropping the token or covering it as though it had cleared.
First, the liquidity test. Criteria v2 asks that at least 90% of material-pool liquidity sits in locked or burned pools, and that the deepest material pool is at least 95% locked. Its deepest pool, the original pump.fun AMM at roughly $281,000, is 100% locked. But two Meteora pools holding no locked liquidity at all have grown past the $25,000 materiality line, and weighted by money the figure is 77.0%. That is a clear fail, and it moved quickly: 91.5% when we harvested it on 20 August, 85.8% that evening, 77.1% the next morning. Nothing about the locked pool changed. Unlocked liquidity simply accumulated around it.
Second, and separate from any measurement: the project's website uses the number 1488 three times, twice as a directive number in its header and once as the document number over its origin section. 1488 is a widely recognised neo-Nazi code, combining the "fourteen words" slogan with 88 for the eighth letter twice. We did not determine intent and we assert none. We are recording what is on the page, because anyone deciding whether to look further deserves to know that it is there.
What it did clear. Mint and freeze authority are both revoked, read directly from the mint account rather than taken from an aggregator. It is an SPL Token-2022 mint whose only extensions are a metadata pointer and the metadata itself, both harmless: no transfer fee, no transfer hook, no permanent delegate. Top-ten holders sit at 23.1% against our 25% ceiling, and the deployer has minted two tokens and migrated two.
Where the sources disagree. Liquidity: Jupiter $211,259 against DexScreener $368,060. Holders: Jupiter 10,411 against RugCheck 41,446. Top-ten concentration: Jupiter 18.1% against RugCheck 23.1%. We record the less flattering number in each case.
The story above is context from public sources, named in-text. It is not part of the checklist and nothing in it is a recommendation. The figures below are ours.
| At coverage (2026-08-22) | Now | |
|---|---|---|
| Market cap | $2.3M | — |
| Liquidity | $211.3K | — |
| Holders | 10,411 | — |
"Now" figures are re-measured automatically every day and refresh with the nightly snapshot. When sources disagree on liquidity we record the lower number.

Coverage means this token cleared the published checklist on the day of coverage — measured and not disqualified, nothing more. Think a figure is wrong: corrections policy. Not financial advice.
