What it is. KITTY is a Hello Kitty–themed memecoin on Solana. Its first liquidity pool dates to October 2, 2025 by our measurement. It is a fan token: we found no evidence of any licence from Sanrio, the Japanese company that owns Hello Kitty, and we treat the project as unaffiliated with the brand it borrows.

The story. Hello Kitty needs no introduction — Sanrio's 1974 character anchors one of the most valuable media franchises ever created, and this token trades on that recognition rather than any story of its own. The contrast with TROLL, elsewhere in this ledger, is worth naming: Trollface's token reportedly bought a licence from the artist; KITTY shows no sign of one from Sanrio, and Sanrio actively polices its intellectual property. That is a standing risk the holder carries, and no lock or revoked authority removes it.

What it is for. Culture and nothing else — it is a memecoin, with everything that implies. What got it through our checklist was structure, not story: mint and freeze authority both revoked, 99.9% of the deepest pool's liquidity locked by our August 10 measurement, and top-ten holder concentration of 16.4%, low for the category. One structural blemish we log rather than hide: the deployer address has minted three tokens, not one.

One caution. The ticker is crowded. At least one other Solana token also trades as "Hello Kitty," and older tokens — Kitty Coin Solana, Kitty Inu — share the KITTY ticker on exchange listings. The KITTY-USDT pair on BingX appears to be one of those other tokens, not this one; we could not confirm otherwise, so this ledger says not listed. Verify the mint address on this page before trading anything called KITTY.
