What it is. PURPE (Purple Pepe) is a Pepe-themed memecoin on Solana. Its first liquidity pool dates to June 2024 by our measurement - Jupiter puts it at 28 June, DexScreener at 15 June, and we record the later of the two.

The story. The project brands itself "Make Solana Great Again" and describes itself as powered by a WallStreetBets Facebook group, which its site links. We did not verify any relationship between the token and that group, or any other organisation whose name it borrows, and we treat the project as unaffiliated with them. Its site also advertises a separate BNB-chain contract; every figure on this page measures the Solana mint above and nothing else.

What it is for. Culture and nothing else - it is a memecoin, with everything that implies. What got it through the checklist was structure, not story: mint and freeze authority both revoked (verified against the mint account directly), a single material pool with 99.9% of its liquidity locked, and top-ten holder concentration of 12.5% against our 25% ceiling, spread across 45,800 holders.

The quiet standout. Age. Of the last 1,000 candidates we measured, the median was sixteen days old and 57% failed the 45-day floor outright; only 11% had been trading for more than two years. PURPE has been, since June 2024. One structural blemish we log rather than hide: the deployer address has minted nine tokens, not one.

One caution. The project's own site claims a $12M market cap; our measurement of this mint is $4.3M, and its holder claim of "47K+" sits close to the 45,800 we record. Part of that market-cap gap may be the BNB-chain contract we did not measure. We publish our figure, name theirs, and leave the reconciliation visible rather than picking the flattering one.
